This short film accompanies the EP of the same name by Rotterdam based musician Kems Kriol.
The film plays alongside the live performance of the music. The visual journey explores the Cape Verdean and Colombian roots of the musician and how they bubble together in the cultural concoction that is Rotterdam, where Kems was raised and currently lives. Mental states, (loss of) connection and changing urban environments line the thematic belly of this audio-visual piece.
The EP was performed along with the film at WORM in 2021.
